more paddles!

fitted the m3 paddles to the 07 330i today took about 20 minutes and they fit and work perfectly no rewiring necessary. so much nicer to use and has down on the left and up on the right. ideal for trackers (Ian?)

Have you managed to make the + and - illuminate (as they do on the M3)?

sounds good but....

Really interested in this. I have a 2007 330i and would love this mod. Did they just screw in? Did u need to make holes in the back of the wheel?

they are easy to fit but you need the original chrome ones to have the wheel with the holes for the paddles. so if you dont already have the push/pull paddles you will need another wheel the paddles and a wiring kit, there are plenty of diy threads to show you how to install

Thanks, I don't have cutouts for the paddles so I guess thats means a new steering wheel and additional wiring if I wanted these.

they can be found on ebay at sensible prices, i have a set of pre lci paddles push/pull and possibly a steering wheel but youd have to either make a loom of buy one

Must be aftermarket paddles - the OEM ones don't illuminate.

Acer Boo, such a cool name, whats the story?

Anyway, I just wanted to inform you, in case you weren't aware, you can flip the wiring in connections 1 and 3 and skip 1 in the standard paddles to have downshift left and upshift right. I have done this.

There is also a DIY. Only down side it doesnt look as good as the new paddles.
