Well, do you dry it with a microfiber cloth after you wash it? You can't just wash it and let it sit there or you will get watermarks. If there are already watermarks and next time you wash it they don't come out then you will need to polish/buff your car to get them out. You should read some of these guides: http://www.detailedimage.com/Auto-Detailing-Guide/

pics would help. Are you sure it is not streaks from water that has dried? Have you been using a waffle weave towel to dry the car? If not, try one out. It really helps drying the car easier and faster. Also when doing a final rinse, make sure you use streaming water to help keep the water drops to a minimum compared to using a garden hose nozzle. I also have a black car and it is a pita to keep clean. good luck

Buying a black car was both the best and worst decision I've made.

Like this?

This is what my paint currently looks like in some spots ( only up close ) ugh I need to get this thing detailed asap.
Needs paint correction. Its waxed and washed but up close it sucks you see stuff like this that just wont come clean with just a wash.

Those are watermarks due to water sitting and drying on the paint. When washing you have to wash by sections. For example....this is the order I wash my car...separate (roof, driver side, back, passenger side, then finally do hood). After washing a section very well dry with many microfiber towels ( around 10 for whole car). Washing a black car is no joke and takes practice to make it look decent. Hope this helps.

I do the whole "touchless" drying with my car using a leaf blower.

+1 washing a black car takes practice. As for drying, I use a dryer blade to just wipe off all the water. Then anything left over just wipe off with a microfiber towel.

It does sound like water spots when dried incompletely, ex., a streak of dampness that drys into a haze.

I can be slow at washing my car, and sometimes, areas of the car dries off before I get to that section to dry. Now that I have a water softener installed, this significantly "reduces" the water hardness/calcium when the water evaporates.
