Proper sequence for interior detailing

Hello experts. I'm about to pull the trigger on some products. From what I understand the two most popular interior products used are

1 303 AEROSPACE PROTECTANT W/SPRAYER (16OZ)

And
2 1Z EINSZETT COCKPIT PREMIUM W/SPRAYER (16.9OZ)

I also understand that both products are used for different reasons. My question is what would be a correct schedule and sequence of use for each product?

Would you use the einszett once a week on dash and trim and use the 303 once a month to protect? Any help would be great thanks!

Out of the two I've only tried the 303 and I really like it. I've used it for my dash and other plastic pieces as well as on my tires. I don't have a specific time table of how often I use it but normally I'll use a dash cleaner/protector each time I wash my car. Don't forget to clean your leather with a leather cleaner and conditioner (ifyou have leather interior)

Thanks Nick. I've used Simonz leather cleaner from Wallmart. Should be okay for now? It is a creamy paste that you rub in and buff off. Gives the leather a softer feel. What do u think?

Do you need more of a cleaner or a protectant?
Of those two 1Z has a more matte finish and better smell, 303 great UV protection a little glossier. 1Z is more of a cleaner and 303 a true protectant.
Depends on what you prefer matte versus a bit of a glossy finish and a true cleaner versus a protectant.
I think of 1Z as an AIO for interiors.

Can you pair them and use the 1Z to clean and then the 303 after to protect.

Certainly you can pair them. I use DP interior cleaner and then treat with 303currently. Not every time, often I just wipe it down.
You guys might also want to look into PB Natural Look, I have that as well and like it a lot, it's a protectant like 303 with a better smell and matte finish. I personally do not like glossy on the interior trim but to each his own.

Thanks guys.

I bought both today and will be trying it out. How do you apply them? I heard a MF towel will just soak it up and I should use an applicator pad.

I will probably use the 1Z as needed. Maybe once a week or so. 303 I will it once a month to give it some protection.

Also can you simply just use the 1Z without the 303 or are you risking having no protectant on the trim.

1Z is more of a cleaner, a light cleaner but a cleaner non the less. I wonder if every time you use 1Z you'll remover a little bit of the 303 underneath. I would just use one or the other, I don't see the need to layer them.

Iz Cockpit Premium – an interior care and protectant that provides an original matte-satin factory finish. This is a treatment spray for all interior components including the dash, finished leather and vinyl seats, door handles, trim, navigation screens, stereo head units, and clear plastic. It has very limited cleaning ability but it provides ultra violet (UV) protection for interior materials. The gentle formula is water-based and free of oils providing a non-slip finish, which allows for application on the steering wheel, shift knob and both finished leather and vinyl upholstery.

Ordinary glass is partially transparent to ulre violet light transmission but is opaque to shorter wavelengths, auto window glass filters out about 95% of the ultra violet (light) radiation, the cause of photo degradation (fading) and approximately 35% of infrared (IR) infrared radiation (heat) radiation that causes the plasticizers in vinyl and the moisture in finished leather to dry out and crack The actual percentage of ultra violet light transmission can be reduced, dependent upon the tinting film used

As the owner of an E93, uv protection is a huge concern. So I use 1Z as a cleaner and always follow up with 303. 303 only lasts 3-6 weeks under normal circumstances, and much less when exposed to the sun or being partially washed off by 1Z.
