To be honest I dont know why you'd bother, I just leave it in sport mode and use the wheel to avoid camrys while stomping on the loud pedal

Thanks!!
If your car has paddles already it's plug and play.

If it doesn't, you'll need:

1 x special harness available from burger tuning
1 x new steering wheel volume control buttons

trim piece and airbag are reused.

My 335 is equipped with the original paddle. But based on some other posts, there are three outs on the original 335 paddle connectors, where as there are only two outs on the M3 paddles. how do i connect them? would they work with direct plug and play?
Thank You !!

The paddles themselves are the wires or 'male' end of the plugs... that plugs into the steering wheel/bracket on the wheel, so I didn't notice an extra plug but I found it obvious as to which went where.

The hardest part of the install will be finding that first airbag removal clip ... took me ages but second time around only 30seconds lol.

Did another msport wheel + paddles tonight on a 320d that didn't previously have paddles... Used a home made harness which worked brilliantly in that:
A) no need to purchase the burger tuning harness for $200
B) no need to purchase oem multifunction buttons for ~$150
c) wired it so that left pull = downshift, right pull = upshift and push is vice versa

Pics to come!!

SUPER BIG THANKS TO bmroxm5/Stu from BMR Autowerkes who fitted my 320d with paddle shift + wheel. I would say this is TOP 3 mod i ever did to my car.
Its so bloody worth it if you don't have one.

Shifting using paddle responses 100x faster then using your gear shift. I felt gear shift handle have around 0.5 - 1 second delay where as the paddle shift is instant.
Also Stu rewire the paddle shift so that left pull down shift/right pull upshift (Same as DCT shift +/-)
At the same time you still can +/- with one hand which the DCT shift can't do.
This just felt so much better than the standard SSG paddle because i find it slightly awkard to push while down shift. Pull felt so much better and easier to navigate while cornering.

Give Stu a call for any mechanic needs man, this guy is a living legend!
Looking forward for the pic!
