Stock? Do you have a charge pipe? Are you running a tune? Try resetting throttle adaptations and starting the car. If it's still there try unplugging the sensor on the throttle body and re plugging it back in.

Running a tune, stock charge pipe. Never thought of resetting the throttle adaptations .

Quick update...
So this all started after removing my chargepipe to replace my intake air temp sensor that sits on the chargepipe just before the throttle body. REALOEM calls this part a pressure sensor as well as the one on the intake manifold but from what i understand the one on the CP is an INTAKE AIR TEMP sensor. So... I also removed the Throttle Body TB and cleaned it out real good by movingthe blade around to clean under the edges of the blade. I suspect this caused calibration issues??

I checked the white drivers side sub connector. Everything seemed fine. The problem still existed.

However, as soon as I issued a Throttle Adaptation Reset the problem went away...

Throttle Reset.

DONT TOUCH THE BRAKE!
PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION
PRESS GAS PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR
PRESS THE START BUTTON ONCE (DO NOT TOUCH THE BRAKE. YOU DON'T WANT THE CAR TO ACTUALLY START)
HOLD THE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR FOR 30 SECONDS
RELEASE PEDAL
TURN IGNITION OFF, REMOVE KEY
WAIT A FULL 2MINS
RESTART CAR

I hope this solved it. If not the next step is to order a new TB.

Throttle Adaptation reset usually works, but if the problem persists then check the GREY connectors in the DME. That is where the throttle wiring is located. Good luck

+1 for throttle reset. I decided to reset all my adaptations usifoa hand held for some reason then I ended up getting the same codes. This was the first post that popped up when I typed it into Google. Tried it and it worked the first time. Thanks vertigo44!

Years later I’m doing the same google search today

I got half engine light and same throttle codes
The car would surge/vibrate and when I finally got to the shoulder rpms bounced 2k to 500 and so on

This reset got me back on the highway. It works.

FYI MHD throttle reset was the first thing I tried and properly waited the 30 seconds but no go.

Thought I’d post for the next person

Ressurecting old posts from the dead!

I had very poor off-idle throttle response and in my quest to fix, I reset throttle adaptations using INPA. That seemed to work great so I drove to work no problem, and it felt significantly better. Then when leaving to go get lunch, I started the car and the idle was bouncing just as you describe and the car was undriveable. I shut down, cleared the codes with INPA (still had the laptop and cable with me) and the car started up and has been fine ever since.
