It's ordered - now the wait begins
G'day guys,
I've already posted over on the LCT thread, but this my first "real" post. I'm thrilled to be able to finally say that I have my E92 on order. Went in yesterday and spent 3 hours with the dealer going over all the options and signed on the dotted line..... delivery due late January 2009 to co-incide with my birthday...... when it comes to giving gifts to myself I can be very generous So this is what I've ordered: 325i Coupe with MSport Package
It'll also have the new upgraded iDrive....so very happy about that. Now for the longest 4 month wait of my life !!!! OZBB aka Glenn Last edited by OZBB; 09-21-2008 at 02:40 AM.. Reason: forgot the sunroof !!! - thanks vgr02 :) |

Congrats & welcome.
Just curious, did you find out if it'll be coming with the 3.0 or 2.5? (given the UK has had the 325i with the 3.0 for a bit now, plus the 125i here has got it as well).

i'll congratulate you proper when you actually pick the car up
out of curiosity - i realised that you're in sydney - why did you get heated seats? winter has come and gone and i've never really come to a point in my car thinking "mmm... if only i had heated seats". how much was that option? PS the wheels you ordered - totally sick. one of the best looking OEM wheels BMW offers |

Congratulations on ordering your baby... once you get a VIN from your dealer you can track it though this process

what I did was I optioned up the car with lots of "goodies" then got them to do me their best price on the fully loaded car...then removed a few things like comfort access....the heated seats remained on the list.... I guess I could have removed them but what the heck...its done now. yes I agree the wheels are one of the nicest in the range.... Quote:

were you able to knock much off the asking price? Dunno why the dealers don't allow negotiation on the pre GST/pre LCT price (rather than the final price) as all the GST and LCT goes to the government anyway

Yes I agree they are a bit tight when it comes to discounts. You know what eats me up... the LCT is calculated on the post-GST price... so effectively its a tax on a tax..... highway robbery, literally. OZBB aka Glenn |
