328i Loaner

So, I bring my '06 325i in for annual low mileage maintenance, and they loan me an '07 328i. It's got sport, Nav, heated seats.

Anyway, driving the car home, everytime I went over a manhole cover with the left tires, the car wanted to go left, instead of staying straight. I had to pull the steering wheel back straight.

When I picked up my car and drove it down the same roads, it wanted to go straight, no problems.

Is this behavior normal for sport, or is that loaner car a POS ??

Bigger / wider tires tend to tramline more. I notice it with my 18" summers but not with my 17" winters. Does your car have smaller tires than the loaner?

My car has 16" Contis - replacements for the Bridgestone Turanzas that had the heel and toe wear problem.

Hard to believe, but the car had 9200+ miles on it, and I hated driving it. Couldn't tell any difference in power, either.
