carbon mirror covers

just bought some carbon fibre mirror covers from taiwan great quality and fit when i went to collect them from parcel force i was stuffed with a £25 tax bill!! the sooner we dump this tin pot government the better apparently they are so skint they are opening and taxing every package i certainly won't be buying anything else from outside europe

Did you get em off ebay?

I've a set of mirrors coming but I sourced them in the uk (got an m3 lip spoiler for the boot coming as well). I went for replacements though and not the caps.

Get some pics up as mine haven't arrived yet

This has always been the case - tax is supposed to be paid on anything over £20 or around that amount as it enters the country - it ain't a new thing!!

Tax has been applied to my off shore purchases more often than not in the last 18 months. The tax that pisses me off more is the £12 - £20 'admin' charge levied by the UK delivery firms to apply the tax. If you try ringing them you always end up with recorded messages. In some cases the admin charge was greater then the original international postage cost. Thieving Ba$tards all of them. No way does it cost that much to apply an invoice and take cash from a debit card

C A Automotive do 2 types, they do some which are the original housings covered which are £110 or the complete housing at £295

carbon fibre must resist, once i start it will be like my Ducati all over again !

I bet they look awsome, have you thought about the carbon firbe kidney grills to match too, they look good ... see it just gets adictive and silly money
