I love that car as well. It's stunning in person. It's still very fast, but the truth is a 335i with a tune is a lovely thing.

Dude, put your windows up!! At those speeds, aerodynamics play a huge roll.

I totally agree.. what happened was just before this race, I had them up and then I had to roll the windows down to talk to Drew and just flat out forgot to put them up all the way. LOL

Oh well, it is what it is!

You would think it does, but not really. I've done tons of runs, never has a window up or down made any difference in the outcome at least in my experiences, in my runs with the modded C63, it seems he actually does better with the window down, lmao.

Yeah I remember Top Gear did a whole series of laps with race cars some with windows down and AC off and some with AC on and windows up. The point was to see which way saved gas or takes up less energy (POWER.) The result showed that cars with windows up and AC on did better than windows down and AC off. We all know how power is robbed from the AC on so you can just imagine the amount of drag that is created from having the windows down.

Actually, the A/C compressor cuts out as soon as you go WOT regardless of RPM. It's this way for most newer cars as well. AC compressors don't necessarily like being spun to 7k.
