I am stationed in Darmstadt Germany and I am getting ready to order a 335i in May. The salesman in one dealer told me it would take 8-10 weeks to get my car done.

I think he is full of shit since the factory where they are made is a half day away. I am seeing somewhere around 1 month to biuld the car, is this correct?

Cars are typically built one month prior to customer delivery. I would expect the order to be frozen several weeks before that, so 6-10 weeks isn't too far off.
