It could just as easily be fine, but I wouldn't want to find out. Sounds like you've significantly improved the car from where it was when you bought it. Sell it and enjoy the profits rather than keeping an N54 that was previously very poorly maintained.
Thanks for ur input!

My z4 is M54 mated to a 5 speed transmission. It feels awsome. It is mechanically sound and I only put 3000-4000 miles a year on it. Sometimes I use it everyday during the week and sometimes only one certain drives. My E90 330i 6 speed manual feels more track focused tho. ALSO on Zpost i remember YOU talking about how good that chasis is and it is super rigid!
I reread your first post. I got it now: E90 N54 335i (auto), E90 N52 330i (mt), E90 N52 328i (mt), E90 N52 328i (auto), and the E85 M54 (mt). Any automatic is off my list right off the bat. To keep 3 cars, I'd get rid of the 335i and 328i autos. Down to two cars, jettison the 328i manual. The Z4 is way too sweet to lose. 330i is the Unicorn.

My 2 cents.

Solid advice. 2one3E90 your responses sound like you like this 335i and I don't blame you, but given the belt incident and auto transmission, I'd have to agree with this. Sell the auto and sell the 328s. Keep the Z4 (it looks great) and keep that 330... they look good too, especially with LCI headlights:
