My clothing brand

Hi everyone

I just wanted to quickly to someone, before I post up anything directly about my brand etc I just wanted to make sure it was safe to do so, I did pm an admin but I haven't got a reply.

But basically I wanted to put something up to show my clothing line and see what people thought, get feedback and some exposure, my target audience is males ages 18-30 who want to wear urban clothing with a sense of class and style which is why I thought it would be perfect to post something up on this forum as I think most of you are my target audience.

Would it be ok if I posted something up?

Would anyone want to see?

Lastly I had an idea that if it was all ok with the mods and admins that I could do a little promotional code for all members to get discount too.

Thanks

Tam

Post it up and see. I can't see a problem asking for opinions.

Not sure what urban clothing is, but at 34 I'm obviously too old.

I want to see jeans that come higher like old jeans. Not these ones that hang off your arse.

Also polo shirts also seem to be 2 inches too short now too.

Not to offend anyone, and to clarify, its the target audience but not the sole audience,

Haven't got myself into making jeans yet but its something I wanted to get into.

But ok here's some info on the brand, its called Gentlemens Club Clothing, and its about bringing back old school gentlemen style and class with a more modern and fresh twist.

website: www.gentscc.com
facebook: www.facebook.com/gentscc

I know what you mean about clothing these days, its all so.. lame and everyone does the same thing, I want to bring something different and unique, and make the people that wear the clothing feel special like they are wearing something that's truly different and stands out.

T-shirts and polo's so its all nice and long by the way

I'm ready to hear all kinds of feedback, so don't hold back guys, and if you guys do like I would gladly do a members discount.

One thing I would suggest is to put measurements against the sizes especially for online sales.

I've found I have to buy different sizes depending on brand. Some manufacturers dimensions vary a lot from one two another.

Some of the polo shirts are 3 inches different at the chest for the same size.

If an online clothing company has an easy 'returns policy' they've got my business.

Clothing sizes are all over the place nowadays, I usually wear Paul smith and always have to size down, so I usually order a small and medium and return the item that doesn't fit.

Thanks for all the advice and I will definitely get that worked on.

Our return policy is simple, as long as it's still something that is in as new condition (basically not something worn out in the wild and unsellable) then it's just a matter of posting back.

Personally i like some of the logo's etc but the actual clothing looks bog standard. Just an average hoodie, t-shirt etc with a decent logo or motif which are ten a penny. Nothing setting it apart.

If i was you i would find which logo/motif is the most popular then design some impressive new whole t-shirt design, or hoodie with some funky feature.

Good luck to you though.

p.s. I like the website. Probably because theres not loads of sponsors.

From the name, I was expecting something quite high end. Thinking a cross between Hackett and Jack Wills.

Gentlemen Clubs allowing tracksuits? I think not.

Very best of luck for the venture though.

BTW, I first got an error that the website was offline.

Looked like fairly generic, bought in clothing with your logo plastered all over it. No offence, you wanted feedback.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

The tshirts have been made to be a bit of the normal way to get the best fitments and highest of quality. Please do remember I am starting up so large ranges of custom clothing would be hard for me at the moment without the financial backing.

Glad you do like the logo etc, rest assured that you have stated the tshirts look big standard but if you did manage to wear them then you would understand the quality is second to none.

But you have all inspired me with much more to do so I appreciate that.

haha harsh :P

But they were all fairly good points, and after all it is something to take into consideration its direct contact with the audience. So Mr Mowflow, your thoughts on the clothing?

Do you want my professional thoughts as a graphic designer previously specialising in brand development, now working in digital marketing and strategy? Or my thoughts as an international style icon?

Hard to be original with clothing . Nothing that hasn't already been done IMO. It all goes full circle.

I understand your comment, obviously what I am trying to do is make clothing that is wearable on a daily basis. But what I want to also build with the clothing is the thoughts of being a gentleman, and those who wear it will be a member of a club who are proud to show that a gentleman's way and thoughts aren't forgotten.

Depends on what you class as a gentleman, classic idealistic gentleman that we all see in suit and ties, no not really.

But young men with an understand of how to be polite and generous and all the other things a gentleman would do then yes,

Do remember i'm trying to break the mold and stigma that a gentleman is one in suits etc, it can be anyone, so why not on the days at home or at the gym wear something comfortable yet represents your characteristics.
