The Buttery is near the industrial museum. it's basically a little hut serviing chips, sarnies and cups of coffee/tea. In fact you can't have been to far away when you took that third picture. |

Yep, just looked it up and it was indeed near us. We didn't wander past the Industrial Museum. We only stayed the other side of the harbour. I probably have had something from the Buttery before as I grew up in Bristol and spent many a weekend around the SS Great Britain, Museum and harbour area.

The 'Breakfast Club' meet at the buttery sounds like a plan. Think they open around 8 on the weekends.
New Nikon 55 - 200mm VR lens arrived today. Looking forward to using it this weekend |

Downloaded this program a couple of weeks ago and still haven't had a chance to try it out. Looking at that picture I should pull my finger out and give it a go.

Nothing to do with me, but I found this HDR of a lotus elise some months ago. Paul's post reminded me of it.

up-close and personal with Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber f1.08.
I managed to get into the pits at the Silverstone test session in June. It was amazing getting this close to the cars. You can see the 'graining' really well on the front tyres.

Didn't see this thread earlier. I love photography - just wish I had more time to learn how to use my camera properly. If you like photography I can recommend Flickr - its excellent.
Here are a few shots from a recent trip to Morrocco: A London cab in the main square! Naturally have lots of pictures of cars...will save them for another time. I have also recently been playing around with macro and can be seen taking pictures of anything and everything. Family think I'm cuckoo! Last edited by Imran@Evolve; 11-12-2008 at 05:44 PM.. |
