Correct. If you want "free" maintenance, you have to bring the car to a US dealer. $381 for an oil change makes it worth driving to Buffalo.

Well, he mentioned later in the thread that it was an oil service. They shouldn't have scheduled him for an oil service, but the OP could have asked for a oil/filter change rather than an oil service.
