Yes I had 3 random strangers compliment the car during my first 3 months of ownership (I purchased in May 2008). The only mod was window tint.

In reality, a BMW is not an unattainable car by any means. But its a tradeoff. People can choose to spend the $$ on other assets, ie a vacation home, or investments in stocks vs. spending the money on a more expensive automobile. For an auto enthousiast, the decision to go with the bmw is easy, although perhaps not the one that makes financial sense given how quickly cars depreciate.... I digress |

Well E92 is absoluely a beauty (especially in montego blue), so I won't surprise of getting some compliments from random strangers once a while. Actually I got compliments on my TSX when I pull it in to T&C, Autohaus & Parkview.

someone asked me the other day if my 335 coupe was a Ford Probe . I still notice 335's with nice wheels and think it is as nice as anythging on the road, the style stands out in the cowd. MR2 is a interesting car almost bought one for an electric car conversion wish I had pulled he trigger as the MR2 is a stand out for toyota. The rest of the toyos and lexus don't do it for me, too bland.

I get quite a few compliments, but it's almost always on my wheels, which are the original Morr VS7's in standard silver.

Ive gotten a couple "nice car" type of thing. Most people look as a drive away because of the loud exhaust and im debadged. So they are probably wondering what car it is.

I get compliments from little kids and some adults. Little kids always say nice car, "It looks like from NFS: Most Wanted." (I wish!) Kids are smart these days. They're not innocent as they were before where you just throw some type of toy for them to play. They want blackberries, computers, gaming consoles.

I get compliments at gas stations fairly often (got a LOT more before i took off the paper plates). Also, whenever i drop the convertible top i get looks and thumbs up (the hardtop convertible deal still isn't that common.
I love this car. |

Yeah I've received quite a lot of compliments. Most of the time, it's the usual thumbs up or nice ride, but I've also received some pretty interesting ones. While waiting at the lights, a group of guys were walking across and noticed my car, then one of them starts dancing in front of it and saying how much he likes this car. Another weird one was when I was at the lights again and this homeless guy stands in front of my car and takes out a carton of milk and throws it at me he got arrested after that!
