Hi all,

Recently purchased my very first BMW E90 320i Pre-LCI SE Edition in Sparkling Graphite!

Absolutely love the drive, comfort, colour and fuel comsumption!! Forgot how comfy cars can be compared to my previous car/'s lol.

Still learning as im going along and getting used to the car.

Looking forward to getting help/info when needed and getting to know some bmw enthuthiast in this forum

Hi all,

Some great looking cars on this forum. The wife and I are looking at buying an E93 over the coming months so I've joined up to get some background info on the models, a feel for any issues, etc.

Does anyone know of any buying guides for the model or any specific things we should be on the lookout for?

At the moment our only requirements are it needs to be petrol (won't be doing the mileage to warrant a diesel) and have black leather (don't like the cream, especially with kids). Aside from this I'm open to thoughts/recommendations on engine type/model variant!!

Hi there,

Just thought id better say hello loving the forum had a few BMWs in my time, 2x E46 M3s, Rare 5dr E36 M3, E60, E46s, E36s, X5. Do love um!
First E92 though!

Just brought a 57 Plate Silver 335d M Sport Coupe, loving it!
Fully loaded for the year bar Front PDC and Logic 7 i think, on 78,000 miles.
Need some tidying and a few bits to do but already been remapped running 350bhp and 700Nm apparently and its a seriously fast diesel! Feels quicker than my previous E46 M3! Few bits need to do, and few done already!

- Just fitted 2 New Front Tyres (Non Runflat to match rear) and all wheels balanced and checked -No Welds or repairs so im happy!
- Fitted new Pagid Discs and Pads and Sensor, stops sweet now.
- Fitted a new performance silcone Intercooler boost pipe and seal as old one leaking oil!
- Removed Parrot car kit as like OEM and the screen and stuck on controller looks tired and bit naff on the dash so removed it.
-Same time replace transmission trim as that was scratched!
-Changed Pollen Filter and put new Bosch Wiper Blades on!

THINGS TO DO:
-Tidy Bodywork, minor dent, front bumper chipped and rear scuffed.
-Undecided on current alloys (Style 230s in Grey) not sure if they suit the M Sport, more the SE? These are kerbed so need refurb.
-Drivers side seat belt butler needs attention! Common fault ive read!
-Noisy interior blower/fan, has a intermittent whine! Annoying!
-Just brought an M3 Spoiler to fit, currently getting sprayed so will fit that soon!
-Looking at changing the angel eyes to the white led type as well.
-Plus whatever OEM+ style mods like the look of!

I'm new to the forum ! I am on my 3rd Bmw 1st being a rare black e46 204bhp saloon manual with cream nappa special order interior with nearly every option from factory ! It had had the wheel arches done by Bmw on the 10 year corrosion warranty and the boot floor near 5k of warranty work !

The car had in my ownership every common fault to many to list ! Costing a fortune To maintain eventually I had to get rid !

I was grateful for the experience I gained in owning the car !

2nd car was a 330d auto e90 that had been remapped by previous owner it was my first automatic car ! I fell in love with quality of the e90 the difference between the e46 and e90 is massive ! Wish I'd of bought a e90 in the first place !

My current car bought it in December a very rare 335d e91 touring with nearly every option ! When I seen it advertised I had to have it ! The previous owner had spent a fortune on her most of the common issues have been dealt with ! Glow plugs,control unit, all new vac hoses, new breather, I've had the gearbox serviced and fitted the forge Motorsport boost hose ! The car had been remapped by AMD it's running at 348bhp 700 nm of torque !

I just bought my first BMW - a gorgeous 3-series 330D convertible. Vermilion Red with Cream beige interior. Stunning! Been driving it all afternoon, roof down, with a huge grin on my face :-) Very impressed with the climate control. It was cold outside, but the coolest thing inside the car - was my sunglasses :-)

hey, I'm a member from canada and I'm thinking about purchasing a pre facelift e92. winters are brutal here so I'm looking for an all wheel drive. the cars that I've seen in my budget range have 100000 kilometres on them or 62k miles what should i be careful, and should i go for the 335 or the 328.

After looking for a few months for a 135 and having no luck on finding a clean low mileage example....... I ended up flying 350 miles and driving this home!



Had it a couple of weeks now and am still in love with it!
