Tire compound is more important than tire width. The PSS are a good compromise between longevity and traction. They are much better than the run flats you have now but you could find other tires that have better traction than the PSS while sacrificing treadware. I run the PSS on my 335i but I ended up buying some drag radials after the runs I linked. Cory S is running a PS2 on his xDrive. He could give you a better idea on which tires will perform a certain way.
