LCI tail lights not sitting flush on csl trunk?

I just got myself a set of LCI tail lights. Went to go put them on and the outers fit like they should. I have a vorsteiner csl trunk and my pre-lci lights fit perfect and snug (sits flat on its on). LCI lights needs to be pushed down and doesn't sit flush like the pre-lci do. Does anyone else have this problem? Which parts do I need to start trimming?

I had the same problem, I have a VIS csl trunk, In order to make them fit I needed to trim the little “tooth” (the one on the tail light), once the light was trimmed I used black silicone to make them sit flush

they are on the side of the light, one on the top and another on the bottom, they are the ones that hold the lights

Same here, my trunk is from Sonic Tuning group buy. my two inner lights wont sit flush with the trunk cause the teeth on the light housing is supposed to clamp onto the edge of the trunk but the trunk is part is made too thick, so the teeth cant clamp onto the edge, instead it sits on top and so the entire light cant be flush. Going to have to shave off the teeth

Do your pre-lci lights fit? Mine fit perfect but lci doesn't.

My trunk is that LCI trunk so only the LCI lights fit.
LCI and Pre-LCI inner taillights are specific to their own trunk cause they are completely differently shaped!
