2011 32i Xdrive sedan WONT START ONLY CLICK
So, I have a 2011 328i xdrive E90 sedan and it does not start. The car will only click.
It all began when I went to get some food and the AC wouldn't blow any cold or hot air on the way to the place, and once I parked I tried to restart the car to see if the AC would work again. BUT the car did not want to start, it would just click and all the interior lights and dash and idrive worked fine without any code being thrown that would show on the dash or iDrive. Fast forward, the car gets a jump start and the car starts and runs. But on the way home (30 minutes away from home) the car throws a battery light, then a transmission light, airbag lights, and the iDriive screen start flickering. When coming off the exit the car gives up and the gauges drop. The car died basically. After trying to start it again and again, it did not budge. Went to Autozone and bought a new battery. The car still would not start. Fast forward later, after doing research and testing fuses, Nothing can get it to start and then my dad and I, mainly my dad, started replacing parts. PARTS REPLACED: - Battery - Starter https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-kit-sr0492nkt - Power Distribution Box https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...se-61146971370 - Positive Power Distribution Box to Cable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Positive Terminal Battery Blow Off Cable Lead Wire https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 AS OF October 18, 2019, all items were installed and I put back the original battery after it was recharged fully. The car would still not start and would click. With a jump, the car started and the car ran in park for 30 minutes, the airbag lights were still on and an AWD light was on but I cleared it by turning the wheel all the way to the left then the right. I then reversed it then put it in park, had the front and rear windshield diffuser on, it was fine. Once the car was in drive, I pressed the gas and the car would not move. Put it back in park then went back into drive and pressed the gas, the car barely moved and started shaking after a transmission light and then a battery light. Now I am in a dilemma of not knowing what the problem can be. Any info helps. |
