Lost Power

I lost all power to the car when very foolishly left the battery charger attached while trying to start it, especially since I had the charger set at 55 amps. Now I have no power anywhere except to the engine bay (the fan kept running while I had no power anywhere else). Now the key is stuck and still have no power after fully charging the battery. What are the chances I did something cheap, like blow a fuse on the battery's distribution box?

Try disconnecting both terminals at the battery and leave it sit un-powered for a 1/2 hour or so. You might have somehow triggered either the IBS (negative cable) or the BST (positive cable) to shut down power to the distribution box. Kinda like a computer reboot.

I'm just guessing here, but that's the first step I'd take.

I just disconnected both posts. The negative was easy, but I had to remove the distribution box to get the positive off.

No luck. Do you think the next step is to replace the distribution module?

I'm just guessing here, but that's the first step I'd take. __________________ A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
