That's funny--I bought my FSDs and ProKit as a kit that came in in a single box and was shipped directly from Koni. Kind of odd that Koni sells and markets their own product in a way that is counter to their own design, if what you say were accurate.

Someone on the boards here actually e-mailed Koni about it and they say they don't list the pro kits with the FSD.

This is the package I got:

Obviously mine had front struts instead of shocks, but again, they all came in a single printed box just like that, and again was drop shipped DIRECTLY FROM KONI. Also note, the Koni part number for the FSDs for an E46 with sport springs 2100 4006, with stock springs it's 2100 4005. The part number for the FSD/Prokit bundle for my E46 was 2105 4006. Certainly looks like a Koni part number, and considering they packaged and shipped the thing to me, I'm assuming they knew they were doing so.

I have a 1-series 128i 2012 with 6MT....I don't think weight is an issue and count me in for the KONI FSD group buy. I am located in NY.

Edit: If it can be extended to FSD+Pro Kit then count me in for that as well. I would be curious about the price for the second option.

Emailed Koni again to clarify. Please see his response below.

"You could use oe or eibach pro kit. Just don’t let the dampers ride on the bump stops."

NO!! no group buy. Please read what I recieved from Koni, unfortunately they KONI will not cater Group buy since the have distributors all around the U.S. and that is not a practice they do cause it would affect their distributors markets. Sad thing but barefacts, at least I tried to help others, I suggest wait till around April May time frame or even earlier and seek discounts like I was able to get. I contacted Mr. Grimes and was fortunate to be around the end of Spring -Summer Sale and I got a 20% discount original price was around $850 and i got it for $650 you do the math amigo!!

The only way to do this is MARKET SPECIFIC areas!! Albeit if 5 people from New england area are buying, good!! but if one person from the south wants one, NOT GOOD!! In other words ALL of you that actually want FSD will then group yourselves let me know and then I will contact Lee and he will then see if a Distributor is willing to go for it. that simple. Any questions contact Lee grimes or myself, I am not getting ANY endorsements on this i already have the product installed on 335d and it handles like an old Caddie and manuevers better than the OEM NON sport set I had!!

If this is still on, I'd be interested.. if used with H&R sport springs, would they have a shorter bump stop to recommend be used with the shocks?

I = suspension noob
