Detailing the ride today

Another long day of detailing for me! :buffing:

After doing my BF's car last weekend i decided it was time to give my own car a shot at looking like a million bucks. The car had pretty significant swirling due to numerous dealership washes, nothing i couldnt handle though!

I started off with a meg's APC+ presoak to loosen up everything, and then washed it. Claying afterwards was nothing too surprising... it had quite a bit of contamination. For correction went with the XMT series, did xmt2 on a LC orange, followed up by xmt1 on a LC white. My LC orange exploded on the 2nd to last panel, makes me really sad because it was only used once prior to this The velcro backing separated from the the pad, and the pad went flying! Thankfully i felt it coming and was able to pull the pc away so it didnt touch the paint padless. After correction i put a layer of xmt carnauba finishing glaze on, and topped it with collinite 845IW. tires and trim got dressed with Poorboy's bold n bright, and glass was taken care of with stoner invisible glass. The color reminds me a lot of my tC, really nice metallic flake when it's cleaned up properly!

I hope you diluted the APC+ to the correct ratio. Its not recommended to use it to strip LSP's and decon the car. I had that happen to my LC orange pad, but it was after doing 2 and a half cars.

it was diluted 6-1 in the foam gun container and then diluted further by the foam gun. Works great!

The proper ratio for APC+ is either 64:1 or 128:1 to put on paint. I guess you would be fine as long as it was not on there very long. Dawn is the way to go for decon
