Welcome! You're in the wrong section for Technical advice, but likely a stuck door actuator/solenoid

Hi,
Hi All,
I'm a new member based in Berkshire and wanted to say a quick hello. I have just purchased a 2008 325D M-Sport saloon, in Le Mans blue, with lemon leather. Loving the car, will post pictures as soon as it stops raining Previously I've owned a Z4 2.2 SE roadster and Z4 3.0 Sport coupe and a 320D Sport saloon. All have been great cars and looking forward to many more wonderful years of BMW ownership. |

Newbie here
I'm the lucky guy who has just purchased Tiko's 335d Coupe. First impressions - the car feels a lot more modern compared to my previous E46 M3, the handling is better than expected, and the auto box is excellent on the daily commute. However the brakes could be better. I've attached a few photos. Some photos of my previous ride too. The wheels have actually been refurbed to gloss black, and new gloss black kidney grills installed as well, since the photos were taken. Next jobs on the list are installing black DiMisa tips and the Alpine audio upgrade. |

Hi All,
just thought I'd pop in here and say hi. After years of owning a variety of VW Golfs, and most recent a Mk5 R32, I've bitten the bullet and moved away from VW's and am now the proud owner of a E92 M3. And here she is: only had her a month and she is currently at VW having a grinding noise from the rear investigated. And a check and quote if i can upgrade to the Alpine sound system, as the stock just isn't up to scratch |

Newbie - 325i Le Mans Blue
Hello you bunch of petrolheads! Just thought I would drop by and introduce myself. My names Jat, in 24 and I live in Worcestershire UK, and below is my first BMW.
I am here mainly because I join all car forums relevant to myself, I find them most useful and the majoritity of the time you get the answers you need. I am into slight modifications, mostly cosmetic but some mechanical too. My previous car (which I still have) is a Clio 172 cup, so as you can imagine it's a huge upgrade. I must admit, I do love it still though! E92 Le Mans Blue 325i, manual, sat nav and leathers. Hop you like! |

Afternoon All.
I'm Jat, based in Leicester. Currently running an e46 330cd M Sport Vert, but on the lookout for an E9x as we speak. Looks like a great forum, and I recognise a few names from EvoT, E46Zone etc. |

Hello.
Hello All,
Thought I'd say hello as a new owner of an E90. Had BMW's for the past 20+ years (all 5 series and one 6 series) and fancied a change. Just bought an E90 330D M Sport Saloon Auto, 2007, Black Sapphire with Dakota Beige Leather. Compares very well to the 5's I've had, albeit a bit smaller and I'm really pleased with it. Already picked up a few tips and hints from the site and hope to contribute when I can. All the best, Mark.

Newbie hello
Thought I'd best join and say "Hello". Got my first BMW in February and absolutely love it. It's a 325d auto. I wanted an E91 but they're a lot more than the E90. Anyway, this one came up with 39k on it at a very good price.
I've been on the phone today with Mark at BM Autosport and I'm waiting on him getting back to me regarding some CSL reps, fingers crossed they'll be on within a couple of weeks. I'll change the grilles for gloss black or black chrome (not decided yet) and leave it at that I think. When the wheels and grilles are on/installed I'll get some more pictures up. |

Good morning guys, just a brief Hello to the world of E9x's.
On the lookout for an E90 M3 and a few clicks away from dealing on an AUC car which I won't be able to collect for about 10 days due to work commitments. Not new to BMW's, have had a couple of E36 M3 Evo's and still own an E46 M3 CSL which is destined for a comfortable place in the garage when I get moved into my new home next weekend. Anyone any good advice on what to do with the rear of the E90 as the pre-LCI arses are rotten if I'm honest. Thinking about doing the LCI conversion but I need a bootlid as well as the lights. And once you factor in paint, recoding and possible the new loom I'm looking just shy of a bag of sand! Thinking about the OEM BMW tinted ones, anyone done something similar with OEM stuff or even aftermarket, which if I'm being honest I'm trying to avoid. Thanks in advance, Good forum, Barry
