Wheel nut covers

Cleaned my car yesterday and while I was doing the wheels I noticed the bolts stand out like a sore thumb due to the state of them, so I thought I'd try and get some wheel bolt covers to sit on the top of them to tidy the look up a bit, just been on the phone to Harwoods BMW in Basingstoke and they say that BMW don't do the covers,

Has anyone got some and can let me know where they got them, was hoping to get some today

I looked into this a while back and the general consensus was to paint the bolts or buy some new bolts.

I'd have thought any bolt covers would work ok. There's loads on eBay and so long as they're the right size for your nuts they will work fine.

Make sure you pick a set with a removal tool though as they're a right bugger to remove without

Plus the charge for somewhere swapping them for you...........no jack or tools in the car and I have none at home...........I'll just leave it until the wheels need to come off for whatever reason and ask them to put new ones back on

I feel sorry for someone who doesn't have some form of socket set required to take a wheel bolt out. No jack needed just do one at a time.

I feel sorry for someone who looks down their nose at someone just because they don't have a socket set

The cheap eBay ones look great, only £6 too so bargain

You can have them in chrome or black. I've used them on all my cars as one of the first mods I do.

The new ones will just go rusty in a few months too, if it bugs you get some plastic caps as said.

BMW wheels bolts have 17mm hex heads, get caps for that size.

Sorry, got my wires crossed. The posts before your post were talking about wheel bolts.
