Simota CF V2 vs Injen

What do you guys think? Simota CF V2 or the Injen? There aren't many reviews on the simota on 330s (i own a 330xi). just wondering which is the best bang for my buck and your guys input on either you might have. Thanks!

Whatever you do don't get the Injen. Completely open to all the engine bay heat so you'll more than likely LOOSE horsepower.

For the NA cars I would recommend the following
Stock air box with charcoal filter delete if you dont want so spend money
if you do want a new air box then you can go with either Simota or Euro Airbox. The eurobox uses a cone intake; I believe the Simota does too.

Stay away from the AFE and Injen CAI's, sound is great but all they do is suck hot air from the engine.

I had Cyba scoops with drop in foam filter and charcoal delete, under $100, visually looks OEM and no heat soaking, and ram cold air. Didn't see a benefit spending so much money on aftermarket CAI.

That's not smart because a tune adjusts to what upgrades you have while getting the tune. it's better to get your intake, exhaust, etc before you get a tune.

Not on these cars. Intake, you lose power. Exhaust, you might gain 1-2whp. It makes NO empirical benefits other than sound.

Trust me, get a tune. Then an exhaust for fun. Race some clown with an Injen intake + exhaust, and the stock car w/ a tune will win.

Intake/exhaust only for sound. Spend intake money on a drop.

I think the BMW performance intake is the best available for our cars. Its just hard to find at the right price...

I definitely saw a decrease in MPG after installing my Simota but screw it...a 1 mpg drop compared to the soothing sound of the intake is a-ok with me.
