I can’t locate a replacement set of rear cool carbon street pads 7247-D1170 anywhere in US. I’ve had these pads and loved them since 2016, but will have to switch.
What pads are folks using that are most comparable to this set? They had a great balance of modulation, bite, stopping power, dust, and daily-drivability mated to Zimmerman blanks.

Thanks in advance!

I have had Cool Carbon. Not good experience. If you find my post from decade a go, because of my experience they removed all from market and introduced revised pads. During this time they send me bmw factory pads. Any how, from street pads nothing but Akebono. Zero dust, good bite, can take even moderate track use. On average I go through two set of brakes per year so have tried almost all pads.

Wow feuer you’re still around!! Thanks for the reply, I’ll take your recommendation on the akebono pads. I’m assuming they are the Euro Ceramic pads offered by ecs. I’ll throw these on the rear now, and when my front cool carbons finally go I’ll switch those over as well.

Yeah! Still kicking! I honestly don’t know what ECS has now. Haven’t purchased anything from them in maybe couple of years. I’m ordering Akebono from RockAuto or FCP
