GVA - storing summer/winter tires at a tire shop

I need to store my summer tires somewhere once I put on my winter tires. I heard of tire shops that will do that. Anyone know a good place and how much does it cost?

Best bet is your own storage. Having heard a few stories of "missing wheels" sound very shady & suspect to me.

True- makes me think of all the wheels I see on CL

Bimette- Think my price guess was off, here's what BJ Autohaus offered in 2010....

If you need to store your tires for the winter, we offer this service.

Only $150 /yr with 2 change overs
Price drops down to $100 when you purchase a winter package at Autohaus!

Thanks guys. I was wondering about theft happening but my wheels wouldn't be worth that much anyways due to curb rash (hangs head in shame, haha).
Hmm it seems a bit more expensive than I thought though. I can only think of free storage space I have in Blaine. You think it would be a problem at the border to bring my tires across like that? Hmmmm

I think Volko offers this service. Don't know how much they charge.

Just curious as to what winter tires you guys run?

I was thinking of the Falken HS449, any thoughts on that?

P.S.

I was planning on buying from Tirerack (Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 or Wintersport 4D from Dunlop), and picking them up from Blaine (Pulse packages), but due to cost, I needed to find a cheaper alternative

Any input would be much appreciated

They should be responsible for them so if they loose them then I guess you get some new wheels
