How's the snow up there? I'm supposed to be staying at the Macdonald Inchyra at Polmont for Christmas.

We had a couple of inches today, im about 1 mile away but quite a bit higher up so we get more snow hence me needing winter tyres or a 2nd car, roads were ok to the hotel as its not far off the motorway and well used roads.

You'd really get need to check with BMW. 16" rims wouldn't fit my LCI 330d M- Sport....not enough room for the brake calipers. Take a look a the standard 320d SE...I've a feeling 17" rims are the smallest available. Also with 16" rims you'd need to buy tyres with a very high aspect ratio to keep overall wheel size the same

I've got a set of 156s, 7 x 16 ET34 using 205/55 R16 tyres.

Had them on my 2008 320i E90 MSport last winter, currently on my 2010 318d E91 MSport.

Do the job nicely.
