SOOOOO.... Who has it here in the UK???
After a JB4 tune, it is the best power to price ratio! Why dont more of us do it? It is a simple install as well as removal for warranty repairs and not other mods are needed other than JB4 and induction!* Others as we have seen have had great power results with no other mods! We already have a JB4 which is meth ready...* Easy, fairly quick install... Where do we find meth here in the uk??? I am very tempted! |

Have you spoken to your insurance co?
You can buy premixed meth from devils own uk. Im keen to do this cos of the cleaning effect and to reduce IAT's... Plus 480bhp wouldn't hurt!

I'm keen on it as well since my Evolution Racewerks chargepipe already has a meth bung tapped into it.
I'm interested in a trunk mount kit since I have no space for the pump in the enginebay with my oil catch can and forge diverter valves. Maybe we should form a group buy with Neil?? |

thanks for the feedback guys
i would only run it on the track bud... Evolution Racewerks chargepipe sounds like a decent investment if it makes the installation of the meth easier. I was considering using the washer fluid bottle because it keeps all the wiring, meth lines in the engine bay... and you can still use meth to clean the windshield supposedly...??? |

Its what allows the N54 engine to reach the 500whp figures achieved in the US and the world over. For JB4 users only Cooling Mist and BMS FSB kit is supported due to the protection features these kits offer and their integration with the JB4 Meth controller. Juiced Up does not recommend standalone Meth kits... Methanol injection is intended for more experienced enthusiasts only. Methanol/Alcohol/Water injection, commonly referred to as "meth", allows you to make tremendous amounts of power on pump gas. The effect is similar to running 104 octane all the time, with additional cooling benefits allowing for more power than you could ever make on race gas alone. We offer two unique styles of methanol kits. Our traditional "trunk mount" kits utilize the industry leading CM integrated tanks which locate the methanol pump in the tank simplifying install and removal. For those looking for a simpler and quicker install our engine bay mount (WW kit) utilizes your windshield wiper reservoir as a methanol tank. Since most windshield wiper fluids are up to 40% methanol the tank easily accommodates 50% ratio and higher methanol mixtures which both clean your windows and maximize engine output. And when fluid runs low you're low washer fluid light will remind you it's time to fill up. Our WW kit can be installed and removed in less than 20 minutes making it ideal for newer or leased vehicles. Regardless of which install method you choose we've selected the 220psi methanol pump for its superior atomization and flow characteristics relative to less expensive 160psi pumps. This kit also features a high speed solenoid for precise control and a CM10 super atomizing injection nozzle perfectly sized for the 380-440whp range. All kits integrate with the JB4 tuning system using the included FSB controller which allows for precise methanol solenoid mapping based on boost, throttle position, RPM, air intake temperature, advance, and other data elements available to the JB4 through its CANbus system. In addition the FSB feeds back an independent signal with pump loading and flow information allowing for safe and smooth progressive boost mapping. If the tank runs empty or flow drops for any reason the JB4 will safely back down performance to avoid knock. In addition methanol can be activated or disabled from the drivers seat and displayed in dash using your steering wheel control menu. If you're using one of our older kits and want to upgrade to JB4/FSB integration you can purchase the FSB controller ala-cart. We also strongly suggest a solenoid with the FSB which is also available ala-cart. The kits include everything needed for install except for a methanol bung. Depending on the model year of the vehicle you can add on one of our meth mount elbows, a new charge pipe with a methanol bung preinstalled, or if you're on a budget you can simply drill and tap your OEM chargepipe for the 1/8" NPT injection nozzle. |

meth
I was under the impression that meth works better in conjuction with the intercooler? Plus I wouldnt be using the meth 100% of the time, I was looking to use 100% water during normal use then add the meth mix when spirited driving is planned ;-)
