Caliper covers? O.o
Its safe to say that many of you guys will agree with me that our calipers are UGLYYYYYY! They look kinda tacky IMO and will bring points down when you go to car competitions or meets. I don't really care on other's opinions but I wanna know, are caliper covers available for an e90 328? Or even a 335 (debating on doing the brake conversion)

Covers are not only looking stupid, the prevent proper cooling of calipers and often melt on them. Now if you are for the look, there are plenty of paint options for calipers (G2, duplicolor, high heat ceramic enamel from VHT, etc). |

uhhh i dont think the m's have covers lol...like someone said above...they are the actual brakes...its the whole brake kit itself.
try to take the m3 brake cover off...you will find out that you cant and have to unbolt the whole assembly.

Ahhh I see. They seem to be the same as caliper covers and I wanted something like that without having to buy a BBK (even if it is extremely nice and hellicious stopping power)

i seen some guy with an e92 with caliper covers at LTBMW meet last year, I chuckled a bit. But they are available for our calipers.
Not trying to add gas to the fire, there are other options opposed to covers. BMW performance brakes look awesome and don't look tacky at all, not expensive compared to real BBK. |

But if you're considering putting those covers, please sell your car and buy a civic. I hear they look great after you cut the springs. If you'd prefer drive the ultimate driving machine, stick with the BMW with ugly calipers, or god-forbid, spend a few grand on your $50k machine, and get some better performing brakes that as a side-benefit, look nice too. No. The 1 series and M vehicles do not have covers. You're looking at the actual caliper assembly. |

If you get covers, at least get the Brembo ones.

There are some better trolls in the o/t section. There's just a few things in this world I hate more than corvettes, mustangs and vipers. |

I'd agree that caliper covers do not belong on a BMW. Haha. Corvettes I don't hate so much, (newer type of the first five years produced. Mustangs, Yuck! Vipers? Eh. Lol. |
