Angry drivetrain vibration at certain RMP

my 06 330i, manual... all stock. Under load and around the 3000 RPM
range .... feels like soemthing is not balanced or out of being concentric
in that range of RMP

Not driving hard just going thru the gears

My tires are all balanced and i havent hit anything
What do i tell a mechanic or were do we start looking
Possibly an engine mount or transmission mount?
Would appreciate any input

Same on my 2007 330i Steptronic, only when touching throttle lightly around 3000rpm, so not wheels - slight enough not to warrant spending days at the dealer, will mention at next service though.

Well I've had this problem in two other cars, my friend just told me this happens to his AUDI TT. He said these exact words which I'm not sure what he means but "The whole time my TT was running on 3 cylinders, because my coil has been shot for a while and i got it back so no more shaky or weird feelings at 3000+ RPMS." My problem with a 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited was my 5th cylinder was completely busted.. so it went from the unbalanced 3000+ RPM's feeling to , "Hello I'm gonna just stall in front of this truck while your turning left on a two-way".

Hey, did you ever get a resolution for this? Mine has starting doing this too. Its pretty annoying. Its mostly under hard accelleration at around 2700-3500 rpm, then goes away in the higher rpm ranges.

im not sure whats up, i never resolved my issue. Im thinking of future investigations, engine mounts, transmission, driveshaft

make sure all of that is positve.

mayby the car needs to be higher reving under load ( like uphill)
may try to downshift and keep the revs higher to see if it goes away

Nah, I know its not related to driving behavior, it didn't do this when I got the car four years ago. I can definitly drive around it but I'd prefer not to.

My e46 does this.

Look into your dual mass flywheel. I had these exact symptoms and this is what I diagnosed my issue as.
