Yeah, but we bought three 335i from him, hence the larger discount. He sold 2 335i earlier that morning and they paid ED Sticker.

not true....Boston dealers are very tough to deal with and I still manage to deal with invoice price instead of msrp
if one dealer doesnt want to deal with invoice +...then goto another dealer
there's meat in every market

yup. I got my car from BMW of Fremont and we only talked from invoice up. Everything was pretty much invoice (car, options, etc.) Fremont and Mountain View are in owned by Autowest and they're very competitive so they're willing to deal from invoice. I just sent out emails to all the BMW dealers around here and I got 3 back tellin me that they'd do $500 over invoice. haha man that was easy...

???? I don't know what dealer you've been talking with, but if they tell you that they don't do invoice on ED cars then they're ing you. You might better run from that dealer ASAP.

If there's anything to be learned from this thread, it's that whatever BS the first dealer you went to told you...it's probably exactly that...BS.

Those who get the best deals are the ones who shop around and go into the process fully informed. That's why this site is so great!

BMW of Fremont has good prices, but when it comes to service, it's totally shitty. You will find out how stupid their services will be.

Well it seems like 1250 over ED invoice/wholesale is the cheapest e92 335i so far... Best I've seen people gotten was 1000 off MRSP. My goal was 1000 over ED invoice, but i guess 1250 isn't that bad, since most people are paying Full MSRP.

hmm now i'm having a hard time deciding between interior trims. I've decided on black leather. Currently I have grey poplar wood, but now I'm thinking about changing it to Burl Walnut. Do you guys think black and gray wood would be a good match, or would it blend in too much with the interior?

yeah I know what you mean. My car's been in the shop for 4 days now. They're trying to fix the Assist system. They were supposed to call me back with a BMW loaner yesterday. Nobody called or anything. I freaking hate it cus I wont get my car back til at least Tuesday. What a bunch of horseshit.

Go with Burl Walnut man. It'd make the interior look more luxurious.

I changed mine to Steven Creeks. Got a BMW loaner there too. Give the BMW of Fremont 2 points on their service and move your service to a different dealer. I hate those SA at BMW of Fremont, a bunch of idiots.

Me and two other friends just placed orders for the e92 335i couple for euro delivery. We got a great deal on it ($1250 over european delivery invoice). Our CA is Jim Chang at Sonnen BMW in San Rafael, CA. He was very helpful in choosing the options and we each did a test drive on the 330i Sedan.

Here's what I got:
Sparkling Graphite with grey poplar wood and black leather
Premium Package
Sport Package
Steptronic Transmission
I-drive with nav
rear PDC
Comfort Access

Jim said it is estimated that the base MSRP will be about 1000-1500 more than the current 330i e46 coupe. Which comes out to slightly under 40k. But we got it for $1250 over euro delivery invoice/wholesale. Keep in mind that ED invoice is $5580 UNDER MSRP for a 330i sedan. What do u guys think? We ordered three cars from him. Our pickup date in Munich is 10/6/06! I can't wait!! :rocks:
Congratulations on your order. There is one option that you missed, Active Steering, which perhaps you should re-think. I suggest that you explore the AS threads on this site and pick-up a copy of European Car, July issue, and read pp. 82-85, "Long Term Intro: 2006 BMW 330i", by Les Bidrawn, editor. He stated the following about AS : "The end result is the best steering car I've ever driven. Ultimately, BMW's active steering makes our 330i more fun to drive. The downside is driving a car without active steering, especially after just getting out of the 330i. Everything else seems to steer like a school bus.
Active steering may be a hard sell for BMW dealers because it's not a visible option like larger alloy wheels or a moon roof. It is, however, just as rewarding as a more powerful engine or sport suspension. Think about that when you spec out your new 3 series."
Having my self driven the 330i, with and without AS, both on and off the track, I would concur completely with his remarks.
