check engine came on, just wanna confirm the problem with u guys

2009 328i e90 n51 w/ 101,000 miles

Code is a p0304 misfire cyl 4

I'm gonna throw a set of coils and plugs, it's running on the original ones

Plugs alone will likely resolve it, but at 101k coils wouldn't hurt.

I was also going to say plugs first, then the coil that's causing the problem. You're wasting $ to replace all the coils.

Okay just swapped the coil with a different cylinder, and the plug to another cylinder, the code followed the coil, so coil it is

Or it followed the plug? Moving the coil alone is the proper way to do it, if it follows, then replace that coil.

Replace ALL your coils at same time. The rest will fail soon. Misfires will destroy your cat converter quickly!

Haha I know, today I replaced only one, but within a few days I'll be swapping out all coils and plugs, they are way overdue anyways
