Glossy Splash Guards Possible?

I have a white car with glossy black accents and I think it would look nice if the splash guards continue the accents line.

Do you think it is possible to turn OEM splash guards glossy? I tried spraying with glossy black Krylon Fusion for Plastic (on the inside just for testing) but as the guards surface is grainy it doesn't satisfy my needs. Tried also sanding with 400 coarse sand paper but I can't make it look good.

I haven't tried using vinyl wrap but I'm thinking the wrap won't stick properly and will peal.

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks

I've seen the OEM mud flaps sprayed the color of the car - don't know what they used or how well it holds up?

You could always do a couple coats of the 'build up' type of primer, with sanding in between each coat, to smooth out the texture prior to finish color
