Below 5k rpm, there is no rasp, and the exhaust tone is quite deep and somewhat intoxicating. It isn't refined, but it's quite delightful. Right around 5k rom and above, the rasp is absolutely present and ridiculous; I would compare this sound, at this particular rpm range, similar to that produced by a straight piped civic. I in absolutely no way would compare this 'rasp' to the desirable rasp sound produced by the e46 m3 s54 motor or the e36 s50/s52 m3 motor.

My $0.02 for those that automatically assume the race version is the better route because it is louder.
I never go over 5k unless I'm racing so ya

The tight spots are 100% adjustable, it's just a matter of starting the install from the front and working your way back. Slightly tighten the front pipe to the mid pipe after properly aligned and then fully tighten when everything's lined up correctly. If anything is out of place, it's due to alignment

that's what I did. before it was hitting the arm so I went back and loosened it up, tried moving the pipes and tried holding it away while tightening them and only got maybe a quarters worth of space. I don't hear any rattles or noise while driving. will have to double check when I do an oil change in 1k make sure it didn't move and start hitting again

This is a much more realistic price for an exhaust system .... Others are crazy .... Coming from jdm history where you can pick up a quality system for $250 lol

The problem is that these n54's are new to the scene, even if they were created in 07 and discontinued shortly there after.. then there just isn't much competition for those who are making parts and prices are all over the place..

I think 800 for an exhaust system is fair when compared to the competition but on the other end of the spectrum these companies want 250 for a charge pipe. HA.

I'm with Game.. clipz.. new clipz at that..

Same here.. Fwiw anyone who wants a bov that bad can just buy a 30 dollar adapter and spend that 250 on a legitimate bov. I could go on and on about the overpriced n54 stuff out there but I'm not trying to thread jack. :P

We sell our charge pipes for $179.99 shipped.

We were the first to introduce a sub $200 charge pipe, sub $500 FMIC, sub $400 downpipes and sub $300 inlets. Our price points have saved customers hundreds of dollars from both our products and competing products who've had to lower their pricing in order to compete.

We have a few customers producing videos as we speak. Our shop car will be down for a bit while we play with new inlet/outlet configurations.

I wasn't trying to point fingers.. I own and love your downpipes but 250 dollar charge pipes exist, however.. And a seemingly affordable 179 dollar pipe quickly becomes painful when you use that drop down list for add on's that cost more than the pipe itself (hks/tial bov). Perhaps what we need is a VRSF bov.

404. That?s an error.

The requested URL was not found on this server. That?s all we know.

You can upload on photo bucket. Also you can upload to YouTube and keep the video private if that's more appealing.
