Dammm... Did my first wash and wax...

There are 3 deep scratches from rocks on my hood. 2 week old car. Where do I go from here? Next time I am going to lease... I heard I should go BMW touch up paint?

Touch up paint is the cheapest solution. Painting the hood is gonna cost you more than $800 probably. BMW paint is pretty fragile. You should consider doing clearbra at least in the bumper....and avoid tailgating other cars.

Clear bra's aren't for everyone....I personally would love the protection, but I don't like the visable lines.

In order for us to make a proper assesment of your damage, you really need to post a few pics.

That's why I will never to clear bra on half the hood. Even if I have to pay extra I rather pay the whole hood that see a line. In my car I only did the bumper and sidemirrors since I plan to get the CF hood later on.

I think most German paint fragile. I have 200K km on my VW Passat and the hood is horrible from all those little tiny rocks hitting the hood from mainly highway driving.

If you want to do a good job with touch up paint trying filling in the scratch using a tooth pic with paint on the tip of the tooth pic. This way you can only fill the hole from the scratch. It takes a while but you get a cleaner result.
