Thumbs up Big body 19x9.5 front and 19x11 rear on e90 328xi

Hi guys just wanna to share that i have putted my new wheels on my e90 328xi. i heard some ppl say that 19x11 is too wide for e90, but when i put them on i find that is very good fitment. no rub. however there is other thing that i am not sure. after i putted my wheels on i can heard so little noise from the drive shaft to the rear, especially when i acceleration then stop suddenly. i don't know is because of my tire size or what? my tire size are 245/35/19 front. 265/30/19 rear. so do you guys think these are fit my e90 328xi? and do you guys know what thing will cause this noise happened?? any response will be important to me, plz feel free to post. thx

I'm wondering if the noise is due to the difference in front and rear diameters: -1.948% Is it killing xdrive?

Well you're not going to rub right now because your car is still factory height. If you decide to lower it im sure you will encounter some rubbing issues. How does that 265 tire look on the 19x11? That is one small tire for a wheel of that size. How aggressive is the wheel & tire in comparison to your fenders when looking at either at the front wheel or rear wheel? It is very even both the wheel & tire, or is the tire slightly outside of the fender and the lip of the wheel even with the fender?

Yeah most likely its the difference in the rolling diameter messing with the xdrive.

So your saying you managed to fit a 19x9.5 wheel up front? What offset and how much do the wheels poke out from the fender?

Do you have more pics like a side shot?

You should have went with 235/35/19 tire up front.

OMG, you can run staggered setups on an XI but the diameters of the fronts and the rears have to be the same!!!!!!!

235/35/19 and 275/30/19 would be ideal. Go do something before you permanently fack up your xi driveline.

The problem is that your wheels are wider than usual, which is 8.5 - front and 9.5 - back. I use this table from e.n335:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127846

and based on those numbers I wasn't able to get diameters that match as closely as 235/35/19 and 275/30/19...

+1. There is no performance benefit at all in running staggered wheels on a FWD or AWD car.
