Style 138 17" (from 5 series) on 335i?

Hi,

Does anyone know for certain if Style 138 17" wheels from a 5 series will fit my 2007 335i Coupe properly? I'm considering picking these up for winter use. I have the Sport Package with 18" wheels.

Thanks,
Paul

Was the 5 series an xdrive, different offset with x drive, ET43 vs ET20 on RWD.

Style 138 17" (from 5 series) on 335i?

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to find out from the seller on the offset question. I just happened to see a posting on CL http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/pts/2450998517.html

Here's the answer I got back from the seller -

The wheels came off rear-wheel drive e60 5-series, not the all-wheel drive. The offset is 20mm.

I guess the other question is the TPMS sensors

Are you planning to replace the tires with 225/45/17?

Style 138 17" (from 5 series) on 335i?

I was hoping to use this setup as-is with the included 225/50/17 but I''m realizing this doesn't seem like the proper fit on the 335i. I was hoping to save some $$ by using an existing combination but it looks like I'll need to just get the recommended wheels and tires - perhaps from Tire Rack's Winter Wheel recommendation.

Thanks for your help.

Paul
