Alex is the freakin' man.
Rec'd my DCAN cable and software 2 days after placing my order. Even includes a nice little tutorial video with his package, perfect for folks who are not familiar with remote desktop sessions or running virtual machines. Coding session scheduled for 9 this morning, started promptly and took all of 20 minutes (if that) for my alpina B3 flash and other requested coding items (halo DRL, mirror folding with key, chime delete, corner delete, etc.) Everything works beautifully. The Alpina flash is no joke, manual mode with paddle shifters feels exactly like an M DCT. I cannot wait to get this car on the track! Thank you again Alex, you've got a big fan here! |

Well...I guess Alex doesn't need my business. Sent PM and the above message with no response.

I sent you one a couple weeks ago about doing remote coding, but no response. Oh, and you can ignore the N55 part. Just my N54. Last edited by dataspike; 06-21-2015 at 10:43 PM.. |

I just had this done and while I was a pain in the ass, Alex was awesome. I owe him a thank you for the recoding and the Alpina flash.

some people have mentioned bugs on the flash and have reverted back to original software. is this still the case for n55 or has it been pretty much remedied? (once-in-awhile-slow/hesitating-shifts).

Got my Ppk flash and Alpina b3 flash done yesterday by Alex and I gotta say it is Awesome, And I love it! The PPK is great for the pops and gurgles my car has now and the b3 flash is excellent for those quick shifts. No problems yet and I hope it stays that way
