Hi,

This code is just for the s/w upgrade for the power kit correct? Wil it work for an e92 335i with the n54 engine built before 03/2010?

Yes it is a software update. I've been told that it will only work on E90/E91/E92/E93s built after 03/2010 but you are welcome to check the part number with the dealer

Just to clarify - I believe your part number is just for the N55 engine (not applicable to the N54). Hence the date codes as well.
