I will agree with LA Lakers on Princeton BMW not having the best prices. Being originally from Princeton I tried there first, but the salesman gave me a hard time about wanting to pay less than the MSRP for my 335xi. So I went to Flemington BMW where they were willing to work with me on the price and get it to a number I was comfortable with. So if you are close to Flemington, NJ you should drop by and check them out. I had a good experience buying from them.

i bought my car from habberstadd bmw in long island...40 mins away from home vs 10 mins from home(bayside)...

I LOVE HABBERSTADD BMW..brought my car there for service a few times and they take care of you..

well if you're buying used and want a 1-owner car, it's really the only way to buy one CPO'd. On a private sale you'd have to get the car passed by a BMW inspection and pay a fee for the extended warranty.

hmm, the reason why I asked was because it was originally serviced and sold back to a BMW dealership. The car I found is a one-owner car

It's been mentioned a few times, but I'll throw my vote behind Park Ave as well. I just picked up my 328 from them and have nothing but good things to say about the pre-owned sales and service departments.
