Is this a good rear camera solution?

I found this on newegg and from what I can tell it doesn't look so shabby. My car is a base model so I don't have the option of going a different route (or do I?)

Anyhoo for the price, specs and features it looks like a decent solution. Whats your opinion internet?

If you replace your head unit for one with video, you have other options available.

That's what I'm doing in my base model E90 (with pioneer double Din deck)
