Well first things first, my car, 08' 335i coupe, Completely Stock, bought CPO'd @ 32k, right now i am at 39k. Now the problems that were changed through warranty since my ownership of 7k miles :

- 1x changed 6x injectors
- 1x changed 6x spark plugs
- 1x turbocharger
- 1x hpfp
- 1x turbocharger vacuum reservor tank
- 1x audio output, radio / ccc permanent failure
- 1x radiator compensating tank leaking
- 3x hpfp failure
- 3x brake light bulb failure
- 1x rear brake pad wear sensor
- 3x parking lamp bulb failure
- 1x tail light bulb socket incorrect connection
- 1x starter
- 1x decarbonized my valves

So with all these failures from previous owner, and myself, only owning 7k miles currently.. i think i am done and going to contact bmw NA and to pursue them to buy it back.

possibly but its been in service over 30 days alone. Since ive owned the car its been in service 24 days. and ive had the car since late october and 9k miles.

Correct you can't lemon it. Since it is cpo you do have a chance of a buy back. I won't wast time with details, but I have an acquaintance who had a cpo cayenne turbo that was a nightmare for him. After getting lawyers involved Porsche ended up paying.

I agree with having them buy it back, but a couple of those items are not cause for concern...especially spark plugs. If you really think changing plugs makes a car junk you need to buy a bicycle.

i know some of these items aren't a concern, but its better to be added to the list. all in all, just seeing what they have to say in the next 1-3 business days. hopefully a good outcome.

A special provision, often called the "Lemon Law," helps determine what is a reasonable number of repair attempts for problems that substantially impair the use, value, or safety of the vehicle. The "Lemon Law" applies to these problems if they arise during the first 18 months after the consumer received delivery of the vehicle or within the first 18,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first. I don't think you qualify for the "lemon law". But I still think you can get something done because it is a cpo, hopefully I am wrong, good luck

Just PM'd you some info. Good luck with your lemon, Cali laws are the best! you will win for sure--Definitely get a lawyer because BMW will try to fuck you even if they do a buyback they might try to charge you for mileage etc...

There is definitely a problem with your electrical system and those are not very easy to solve. The multiple HPFP failures are probably because the LPFP and associated sensors may have been defective too and have not been replaced.

yeah that is what i am suspecting also. in any case, yes i know the HPFP is common problem, but for me i have all sorts of electrical problem that comes with it.

+1 on the electrical system issues, good luck getting those gremlins...

a few of them are just small minor things...is everyone clueless when it comes to brake light bulbs failing? That is a common occurance in almost any car. I replaced all 4 in my girls car, big deal. One small trip down to autozone and 10 bucks later problem solved.

BMW will definetly not lemon the car with evidence like that.
