installed DCI and problem!! help!
I just got installed bms dci yesterday and I loved sound and all that.
but I did some wot pulls at highway. car shakes like popping it feels like car is not sucking air properly does anybody have an idea for this? I am worried so pls let me know.. Last edited by GOTHP; 09-12-2009 at 07:41 PM.. |

Are you sure you installed it correctly? Did you tigthen all the screws? Is your MAF sensor properly screwed in. I'd double check if I was you. I got a CAI in my car and never had such a problem. |

hmm I tried to check and didn't find any problems yet...
but did some wot again car definately shakes back and force after certain rpm tmmrw I will take them off and put stock air box in if problem still exist.. does anybody have same problem? |

No my brother has a 335i with a AFE CAI and he also does not have that problem.

okay I was running map5 when I had a problem with bms dci. I switched to map3 and tested,had no problem
and switched back to map5 no problem but went into limp mode so I assume, it will be more likely fuel pump issue replaced my fuel pump month ago and having a problem again...shit.. |

I belive this is the problem, there are a cone inside the filter that stops the airflow if the pipe has been pushed to far into the filter
