Great vids Dan. On the third session the second day I saw the aft end of your car entering the carousel but then they put out the checkered flag.

Yep I passed that F430 Scud numerous times too. She gunned it on the front straight on two occasions but I stayed with her (hard to get away from a fully optimized 335 at full acceleration methinks ...or maybe I'm just telling myself that) and she pointed me by both times. She was not fast but quite aware of surroundings. And man did that thing sound good. Gorgeous car.

What a great event and a great track. If I had to describe Summit Point, it would be the speed of Lightning with half again the technicalities of Thunderbolt. No room for mistakes - there are definitive lines. NJMP is up to driver interpretation a bit more. I was doing 135 on the front and 110 under the bridge and 100+ in two other areas on the track (out of turn 2 and then immediately afterwards over the hill after turn 3). Yes it's that fast. The front straight definitely honed my braking skills ...hence I'm still alive.

Track photographer was pretty good and I had to get a few!

CJ, your car corners so flat now. I like!

Peter, I'll be joining the crew on the 24th-26th at NJMP-L with CCA.

Peter - add wonho and DSC_OFF to the August NJMP event.

Charles - how'd the Michelin PSS work out?

Was the girl driving the Scud the owners daughter? I know Brad had the 458 Italia that he used to drive in the advanced group and his daughter would drive in the beginner/intermediate group.

Everyone who's attending the August event at NJMP. What run group are you in?
I'm in advanced.

PSS were phenomenal. No overheating or chunking even with the hot 90*F+ weather and driving the car HARD. They made the biggest difference out of everything I changed in the last few months, along with the JRZs.

The F430 Scud was out in our group (Intermediate) and also in the group above us; two different people were driving it. The woman was driving it in our group.

I didn't get placed in a group yet for 24-26. Been sitting in "Pending Review" for a long time now. Starting to get impatient.

They're trying to figure out where to put you based on your track experience.

I should be in intermediate. I emailed them to confirm this. I will be having an instructor, however, as I think I've gotten as quick as I can go without instruction. I need some extra help to fine tune some things and push my way up there.

Back end is coming along nicely. Missing a diffuser...

I've been on "pending review" on intermediate for a couple of weeks now.

Btw, who are attending which of the three days? Is all three too long? I'm contemplating just doing Sat and Sun instead.

I felt like 3 days was too much for me so I'm just doing Sat/Sun.
