Yep... They didn't know how to dyno it. That's why the operator didn't go full throttle and that's why your results are miserable. They need to fully disable DTC before you get on the rollers. And then the need to start the run, like normal, at 2000-2500 in 4th gear, in DS/Manual mode. The operator can go full throttle (right up to the point of the kickdown switch). The car will stay in gear all the way to 7000rpm.

Get your money back.

Not for a while. Don't you want to re-dyno the current map properly? I assume you paid for the dyno run. Might as well get it done right.

At least get your $80 back. You paid for a service (a proper dyno test) and you didn't get it. I hate it when customers get jacked like this.

Seriously though, just the fact the dyno operator started the run at nearly 4000rpm tells me that someone doesn't know what they are doing. Go somewhere else. That run is a joke.

Shiv
Actually, that is a good point. Pedal sets with long screws can make it so the car can't go WOT. If you have an aftermarket pedal set you need to cut the excess screw on the accelerator pedal in most cases. Not sure if that is what is causing this problem but it would be funny if it was

i'm gonna run outside to check on the pedals to see if it is the screws that caused it...i'll be damned if it is

haha, yeah right...the screws barely go past the rubber pedal

I wanted to bump this thread up instead of making a new one because of the BMC air filter. Ontopofm is absolutely right, the responsiveness of the car is so much better now, its the best $80 I coulda spent for the car. When I take off in 1st, you can just feel its so much easier.

Go to the vendor section and buy the filder. You wont regret it.

here are my datalogs from last night, i thought i pulled all the way to redline on 3rd gear on run 3 but it's not appeared to be so. shiv, what do these say about my car? something wrong with the car or the dyno operator didn't do it properly? i'm at 92% across the board on 91 octane

You have too less boost, except in the last chart. Before we talk about boost leaks let's talk about the OEM diverter valves. Can they be the problem ?

Has Forge released them yet? Will they fit with a Stage 2 MSDS intake?

No, nothing is released. They just know to send a pair of them when they are ready. No idea about the intake. I bought an ITG filter from Vishnu. Car feels good with the filter.

So looking at the 2 lines of the first dyno, the only difference is the air filter? While the improvment in peak HP is nice, does it really kill your low end as the dyno depicts. And the times it dips below the stock air filter dyno in other areas? You would think it would be a consistant overall improvement. It looks like the stock airfilter dyno is way ahead till 4500rpm or so (90% of our driving!). Just dyno inconsistancies?
