Modding question

So I picked up a 335i back in nov.

And now I am not to crazy about it. The car is stock for now.

I went through many problems right from the beginning. turbos where replaced, spark plugs and the hpfp.

I owned a 350z before and the torque was great, the car had good raw power. Before I also went through 3 bmw's. They where all modded so they drove great. They where fast and the suspension was stiff.

So instead of selling the 335i I decided to mod it.
I have ordered jb3 2.0, bms dci and kw v1.
What stage can I keep the jb3 at without throwing any error codes?

I am thinking about getting a BOV and the AMS FMIC. With these 2 other addons what stage can I be on with the jb3? Also what kind of power should I expect with the mods listed above. I also ordered the scan tool for warranty issues.

with jb3 and dci you can run up to map 5 with 94 octane. i remember reading something about map 1-5 being programmed not to show tuner error codes. if you run map 5 they say about 80hp increase.

maybe mike (n54tuning) can confirm.

get downpipes, fmic, then you are ready to run map7.

In my experience with JB3 there is NO 100% guarantee that you'll not throw an error code even on MAP 1.
