M kit installer in Toronto?
Anyone know places in Toronto that has experience installing the M kit other than the dealers? It seems that most of the kits are installed at the dealers.
I've had bad experience dealing w/ independent places before and I want to get this done right (since it seems to be a lot more involving than just replacing the existing pieces after I read the instruction). Thanks!

I'm not sure how experienced they are with E90's, but you can try europamotors. I'm planning to get my springs installed by them at the end of the month, unless someone tells me otherwise.
You can e-mail them at europaoffice@bellnet.ca. When I got my kit installed it was outsourced to York Mills Automotive Centre. I'm not sure if their rates are the same as the dealership, but you could try. (416)449-5222 |

European Autobody is the place where I go for repairs. They're very pricey, but they also handle Ferraris and other exotics.
They're affiliated with (and I could be wrong) Maranello BMW. Manual De Luca was my contact. He's really good, took care of my rentals, and they even did a whole detailing thing on my Mini (inside and out) upon the repair's end. |

Thanks guys.
I checked out BMW Toronto, and they seems to get the kit painted outside then installed at the dealership. I believe Parkview gets the kits painted at a place in Oakville, their overflows goes to York Mills Collision (at least that's what I was told). I really want to go to European, but I might just get a price shock when I ask for an estimate.

If they are painted I would personally contact Rocco at RMP Motors in Bolton. http://www.rmpmotors.com/1024x768/index.htm He's the only guy other than me I let touch my car. |

Thanks guys.
I have the complete OEM kit sitting at home. I figure even if I have to get the kit painted and installed, it can't be anymore than $2000. Question now is whether to have the kit painted first then have someone to install or just get the kit painted and installed all in the same place.

He will also arrange painting for you. He uses European Autobody for paint work. They just did my aero sills (via Rocco), paint work was first rate & colour match is perfect.

sorry for bumping an old thread but I wanted to comment that European Auto did an excellent job installing my mtech rear and sides. They even buffed out a scratch that the dealer had put on my bmw performance grills! I had nothing short of an excellent experience there and the girl at the reception knows how to make an excellent espresso and is also pretty good looking!

For what it's worth, I ended up getting my kit installed and painted by Budd's bodyshop in Oakville.
The finish was flawless and very well done. I don't think they are any cheaper than European however.
