Is that why you have tinted your rear lights to look like LCI rears and fitted LED rings? lol

Never said I don't like rear lights. My headlights doesn't even look close to lci's, so not sure what you talking about.

It makes me laugh when people say they don't like LCI cars, yet they make changes to their cars which are inspired or copies from the LCI models.

I like the rear lights on the LCI, and I like the grille on the LCI (on the E90/E91) as it does not have the thick top bars on the bonnet. I prefer the Pre-LCI bumper with modifications like splitter/lip etc, but LCI as an M Sport item untouched. CIC is a bonus too. Both have their good points.

I prefer the LCI front and rear ends on the E92. The LED indicators always look much fresher than the older bulb-based ones. LCI rear lights are most definitely a must; I was sceptical about them until I did the upgrade, but now I'm converted and think they take years off the rear end The red is much deeper than the pre-LCI.

When it comes to the E90.91 I'd say LCI is absolutely essential as the pre-LCI looks incredibly dated now.

i like the contoured bonnet on E90/1 LCI's and also the indicators on the headlights, and the rear lights :P

front bumper on the pre-LCI is more aggressive though?

Certainly think if we're talking about E90 then the rear of a pre-LCI looks very old these days, front isnt much different but I'd certainly go for an LCI over pre-LCI!

I'd even go as far to say I prefer an E46 rear end over a pre-lci rear end!

I was going to say the same thing. The LCI E46 (especially coupe) still looks fresh even today.

The E46 coupe facelift was fitted with those LED lights. Looks like someone has retrofitted them to a pre facelift car.

Personally I quite like the look of my pre-LCI E90 from the front and side. The extra bonnet lines of the LCI cars look abit too busy for my liking, and the larger wing mirrors also unnecessary.

But I do agree the rear light cluster is awful, even the darkline ones look dated and from the 1990's. I've tinted mine, but have ordered some aftermarket LED items which are going on this weekend

Obviously biased due to what I drive, but I actually prefer the pre-LCI rear lights/rear end. Fair enough I've added a M3-lip spoiler but this is certainly my preference:

I also prefer the pre-LCI front bumper and non-contoured bonnet, but I've always felt the split grille with the moustache on the bonnet is pretty tragic.

LCI cars with xenons lights plus white 80W leds
And bonnet is aggressive on LCI!

No comparision to pre-LCI cars...

I like the LCI grills and headlights, but pretty much everything else looks better on the pre-LCI to me (assuming blackline taillights).

Especially the mirrors. I hate the facelift's mirrors with a fiery passion. They're so big it looks silly.
