With another harness and firmware update, it would also be able to be installed on a Skyline GTR, EVO X as well as any watercooled (01 and up) Porsche 911 Turbo.

So you are telling me that eventually I could take out my Proced and install it on a TT 996, just by uploading a new firmware and a new map??
Let me see a Hell yeahhh!!

Yes. But you will also need a new harness. It installs just like the BMW PROcede (extracting a few pins and plugging in new ones). The price for the 996tt is $1950 so that update would cost you 1950-1295 or $655. Not free, I know... but a lot better than losing money on a sale and then spending more money ($2000-3000) on a 996 flash.

Right now, we only do them as local installs but we'll have instructions written up within the next 2-3 months. You will also need upgraded bypass valves with the 996tt since the factory ones leak at ~14psi. We run boost at 16psi

What kind of HP and TQ are you seeing out of those 996's with the procede?

About 100lb-ft of torque and 70whp. Brings total output to ~500bhp an 550lbft with stock exhaust. I've had it on my car for a year and it still makes me go "whoa" when I get on it...lol.

The gains I quoted where a the wheels on a Mustang AWD dyno. They'd be a bit bigger if we tested in 2WD mode on a dynojet. The Skyline will be a huge hit. We are very excited about it

I love TT Porsches... Depending on how the markup and sales look on the GTR i might just get a used 996TT when the lease ends on my 335... Either way its awesome that you built a tuning platform that supports a few forced induction cars

does anyone know what i have to do if i get a dinan flash and my car is a lease. my bmw dealer is not a dinan dealer, so would i need to bring it to dinan to have it reflashed to stock before giving the car back? is this even possible from dinan, i dont want my lease to be voided from the flash?
thanks

With procede etc you have a module you can take off and sale... Can something of the sort be done with the dinan flash? Also, if I sale the flash at a later time, does the dinan warranty transfer to the buyer? Based on these answers I will make my appointment at the local dealer to have the flash done.

TIA

When you sell your car, it will have higher re-sale with the DINAN badge on the back. There has always been a little bit of pristege having a DINAN bage on a car. Shows the owner isn't goofing around!

That's certainly an interesting point of view. I've routinely heard and seen evidence of the opposite with respect to buying a modified used car. Even one with a Dinan badge on the back.

I guess it is in you imaginary world because most know it isn’t so but your propaganda campaign still continues.

One could say you lose value on your car by running poorly tested piggy backs.

What does "imagery" mean? You're so angry you can't even type. Seriously man, your shtick is getting old. Lay off the Haterade.

Get use to it. No anger here. I can't type at the best times and don't mind the insults because of it.

Yeah.. and they also have it properly maintained at the dealership. BMW mechanics use to love when a DINAN staged car came in.. I remember being called by my SA that if I wanted to come check out the heads when they get them off...etc.

Those mechanics always loved running a scope on DINAN cars. Specially if they were apart of the original install 5 years earlier. Those guys are car enthusiasts too, and their fever landed on me... even if I couldn't afford such "luxuries" back then... I saw how the BMW mechanics wanted to find flaws. Instead they worked harder and more meticulious around DINAN badged cars... if for only 1 thing.

That the owner spent the money to pay for pricey aftermarket stuff... even when cheaper was available.

Some people don't want to spend money on a "tune" that puts you in limp mode.... even if your only a phone call away Shiv...!

As usual you know enough to have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I particularly enjoyed your train wreck in the other Dinan thread
